Email a receipt to voters
ElectionBuddy allows you to email a receipt to the voters, who are set up to receive email notices. The email receipt will be sent automatically to the voters after they submit their ballots. You can enable the email receipts in the voter notice step when you select the "Email notices" option
You should enable the email receipts if:
- Required by law to send a voting confirmation receipt to the voter. For example, all the HOAs using e-voting in Arizona must send voter receipts to all the voters who have submitted their ballots.
- Confirm that the ballots were submitted and recorded successfully.
- Use identification number for an election challenge and verify whether the ballots were submitted correctly or not.
