ElectionBuddy is the easiest voting solution for all types of Unions. Increase your member engagement and make decisions faster, with more buy-in. Take the stress out of the voting process.

The team at ElectionBuddy has compiled the following example questions to assist with your vote setup. We do encourage you to refer to your union's voting rules to ensure you use the appropriate voting method and verbiage.

Executive Officer Election - Multiple Vacancies

When electing representatives to a position, you can determine how many choices a voter can select, such as by requiring a voter to select a candidate for all vacancies or just several. Under add details, you are able to add a photo and biography for each candidate.

Executive Officer Election - Single Vacancies

Voters choose to either approve or reject the candidate. The option with the most votes wins. There is also the option to include a statement from the candidate in the ballot attachment. The candidate's name will be in the ballot item title, with the options being yes/no.

Contract Ratifications

Voters choose to either approve or reject the contract by reviewing the proposal. You can also attach a document with details on the vote.

Meeting Resolutions

Voters vote for or against a resolution during a meeting or on the ballot of a remote election.

Voters enter a name of their choosing into the nomination field. It can also be set up for multiple nominations, and voters can enter multiple names of their choosing.

These are just a few ideas to help you get started building your ballot! For more examples please see Ballot Samples.
